THE SECOND TRANSFORMATIONAL LEVER RELATIONSHIP FORECAST BY KATINA CASTILLO
Beautiful, Beloved Mystics. There was a call for an astrological reading of romantic love in 2025 and I have answered. I put a lot of intentional prayer work into this behind the scenes because it is a MASSIVE task to address this topic as a new world order organizes itself deep within the soul soil of the earth and our collective psyche. I was guided to off er it to you as straightforwardly as I can, which has turned out to be quite challenging, but here’s what came through.
In 2025, romantic love will be put back in its rightful place - secondary always to the Love Supreme that is compassion, and in a supporting role to the unique soul journey of each individual that guides us to this higher love. For generations, romantic love has mostly been a distraction and delusion keeping us from our true creative purpose and spiritual fulfi llment. In 2025, it will cease to be a priority for those on the mystic’s path of truth seeking and enlightenment for collective
liberation.
With absolutely zero need at this point for procreation on a dangerously overpopulated planet, as well as the necessary dying off or transforming from toxic familial and cultural legacies, our animal instincts for “romantic love” are also rapidly declining. It’s time to recognize in full view that the sexual wound is the deepest in our human experience. It proliferates every extreme of ugly and violent behavior that terrorizes our world, all the while remaining hidden by the cloak of taboo. To heal and free us of these cycles of fear, pain, exploitation, and soul loss, we are overdue for a reclamation of the sacred, beginning with our body vessels and the source of our creative energy –our root and sacral chakras, our genitals and reproductive organs.
As we are guided to heal, awaken, liberate, and harness more of our sexual energy for creative self-expression in 2025, we will find that this leads to a wellspring of inspiration, love, pleasure, and satisfaction stemming from balanced yin yang energies, the internal sacred union. From this state of being in wholeness, the idea of romantic love simply falls away, which, as we know, is typically when someone shows up out of nowhere desiring to experience it with us. That is because they get drawn in by the vibration of passionate juiciness and joy for life that we are generating within! If we choose to engage in romance from this place, it pours forth generously from an overflowing cup, not from seeking to fulfill a perceived lack.
2025 will guide us to far more authentic experiences of romance within the company of spiritual, openhearted friends, among forest trees or along ocean shores, and deep within our internal universe - the space where Rumi found the Beloved. Unless “romantic love” by way of a sexual partner is in service to creative individuation, freedom, and spiritual ascension, it simply won’t find or be able to keep a place on the altar of our open hearts. That may sound paradoxical but only if we are in denial about the power dynamics of possession, control, manipulation, martyrdom, projection, blame, shame, etc., that unfortunately persist throughout our collective histories about romance. We are dissolving those patterns and tropes now; many have already forsaken the sharing of classic romantic tales with their offspring in hopes of cutting the chords to these toxic depictions that consistently dehumanize people based on race, class, and of course, gender. Many more will wake up to the harm these images and ideas have caused and join the effort to dispel them.
No more projections of our unlived dreams and desires onto bodies we find sexually attractive or karmically magnetic. No more attempts to escape from the fear of scarcity and ‘not enoughness’ by tying the knot of codependent entanglement with someone you expect to provide for you what you still believe you cannot give yourself. No more projecting our cultural and familial pain onto intimate partners we expect to redeem themselves and all of history by shouldering the work of their gender, racial, or class identity all on their own. Or worse, enduring violent projections of a person attempting to enforce punishment or revenge on their partner for what the partner represent in their mind, even though it was fully that person’s choice to join with them.
With Saturn and Neptune clearing the final degrees of the zodiac to reset our collective cycle, and the North Node guiding us into Piscean Oneness while Pluto amplifies Aquarian energy free of Capricorn, and Uranus completes the awakening of the Taurus sensual body to move into the curious and questioning sign of Gemini, 2025’s message couldn’t be more clear. It’s got to be new, different, not been done before, shattering of old world paradigms, collectively focused and intentional, while also playful and conscious of the game this all is - or it’s got to go. Out with what we knew and in with radical experimentation.
If you’re ready for THAT kind of romance, then get ready! You may be called to spearhead a revolutionary love movement in your own neighborhood. But if this sounds overwhelming, it may be time for a spiritual deep dive into, for example, Queer Theory. The queer community has long known it is tasked with leading the way of liberated love, and finally we’ve come to a greater collective moment of embracing the concepts of Love is Love and Love Wins.
However, the movement has been about so much more than the bare-bones-BASIC protection of human rights and dignity of a marginalized group when it comes to romantic love. The rainbow flag has been raised high and garnered much national attention because it is a clear and powerful mirror reflecting back to us our religious and culturally-conditioned fear and resistance that has historically and currently led to dangerously repressed sexuality, split psyches, and explosions of violence as a result. Through exploring and accepting the sexual fantasies often shunned to the dark corners of the psyche, we bring intimacy and the desire for romantic connection back into the light of innocence.
Romantic love is a vibrational frequency available at all times and generated from within. As the greatest wave of healing we’ve ever experienced completes in 2025, my hope is that our sense and engagement with romantic love will become childlike once again - spontaneous, non-judgmental, unpossessive, creative, and completely freed of shame and guilt. May it be so. For our Divine Beloved is worthy of such praise, the joy, pleasure, and gratitude of being alive in a body on a living planet, romancing all Creation.
