The Second Transformational Lever: Relationships Forecast
In the guidance that is provided to us in for the mystics oracle deck, Time is described as “our collective agreement to walk through days, weeks, months, and years in a shared understanding.“ It is described as holding “a leading role” in this life and the guidance invites us to “co-create” how we experience time.
In the last few years, however, that has been easier said than done. Our experience with time has not felt like co-creation. In fact, we have felt that time has spun us out of control. We have felt the days and months very differently under a global pandemic. We felt the urgency to “fix” societal issues that have lasted for generations and yet we have just woken up to them.
In our relationships, Time has felt fleeting and even cruel. For those of us who have lost people close to us due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we may wonder if we spent our time with our loved ones in the way we intended. Even some of us feel like we have wasted far too much time on dead-end jobs, useless perfectionism, and things that simply at the end of the day don’t matter to who we are and our soul purpose
In the next year, we are called to level up in our understanding of both time and how we use this resource in our communities and societies. With the Shaman card in the North, the direction of the unseen, we are called to use our eldership, discernment, and (newly found?) maturity to align our relationships to their full purpose.
With change as the constant, as a collective can, we understand time is changing for each of us as well? Perhaps instead of seeing time as “fleeting”, we must see it as “precious.” Instead of seeing time as a “taskmaster” perhaps it is just simply one structure of many to help us stay on course in our life‘s purpose.
What’s possible is new opportunities to re-create our communities and societies in ways that are gentle, kind, and loving. What may lie there is the possibility of co-creating a world where justice is real here on earth today and not just a hope for the future. Can the confines of time be the catalyst? Can it be the fire in all of us that moves us into a new collective understanding of who we can be for each other and for our societies?
